Idaho High School Football Huddle
Former Boise State running back Jon Helmandollar is the new head football coach at Wendell.
Helmandollar, who played for the Broncos from 2002 to 2006, takes over for Brad Neuendorf, who resigned after last season. Helmandollar has spent the last three seasons as an assistant coach at two schools.
Last year Wendell finished with a 3-6 record.
