Salmon River Reigns as Idaho 8-Man Division II Champs

Salmon River captured its second-ever Idaho 1A Division II eight-man football championship with another last second touchdown.

Quarterback Charles Jaramillo-Swan hit Cody Carlson with a touchdown pass with just three seconds to go to give the Savages a 46-42 win over Carey, which reversed last year's championship game outcome that was won by Carey. The last second victory came just one week after Salmon River scored with no time remaining on the clock in the state semifinals.
